Hamburger Soup

1 lb browned hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. sliced potato
1 c. chopped carrots
½ c. celery
1 t. thyme
1 t. basil
5 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper

Boil veggies and seasoning in water until cooked. Add hamburger.

Add 2 lb. can crushed tomatoes.

Add 1 cup shredded cabbage right before serving. Serve with buttered crackers.
