Carmel Brownies

14 oz. pkg carmels
German chocolate cake mix
2/3 c. evaporated milk
½ c. melted butter
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt carmels with milk in saucepan or microwave. Set aside.

Mix melted butter with cake mix and 1/3 c. milk. Spread half of the mixture in 9x13 greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes.

Remove from oven and pour melted carmel on cake mix. Sprinkle chocolate chips over carmels. Drop remaining cake mixture in globs evenly on top of chocolate chips. Spread a little with your fingers.

Bake an additional 15-18 minutes, or until done.
